Yearly Plant Sale
Past years during Mother's Day weekend, Edina Garden Council has held a plant sale for the public. Edina Garden Council is a non-profit organization and proceeds from the sale are spent on our philanthropic projects, such as horticultural scholarships, supplies for the greenhouses, and garden features for the Edina parks.
This 2021 year is different Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our traditional Mother's Day weekend sale, may be held at Arneson Acres Park in Edina, OR will be spread out at two private locations. The sale sites are at two EGC member homes who have many years experience organizing plant sales. The final location will be announced later. Our sale is scaled down to control crowd size, but will still have a great selection of donated plants from members gardens, houseplants, Arneson greenhouse plants, extra annuals from our vendor and EGC hanging baskets. Procedures are in place to maintain safe social distancing during the sale. Check below for updated times and place information.
We ask people to wear a mask, any kind, and practice safe social distancing. The 2021 plant sale is self serve, including check out. So important items to bring to prepare for shopping are: Boxes, containers (we have very few this year) for transporting your purchases to your car, cell phone for photos and calculator, pen to fill in the provided tally sheets for your order, and envelopes to hold your order and check and drop in the lockbox.
