What is Edina Garden Council?
Edina Garden Council is a non-profit organization which consists of individual garden clubs. The individual garden clubs plan their own activities for their club monthly meetings. Activities may be any sort of social gathering. Each garden club meets at a different day and time of the week to provide schedule flexibility for members. See club meeting times.
Edina Garden Council coordinates the joint activities of the garden clubs, such as our greenhouse planting, yearly plant sale, biennial garden tour and luncheons. Our volunteerism benefits the City of Edina parks.
Edina Garden Council also has monthly meetings at Arneson Acres Park in Edina which frequently offer adult educational programs on many current gardening and horticultural trends. The events at meetings are free and open to the public. Visitors are always welcome. We are always creating events for all ages.
