Yearly Plant Sale
Every year during Mother's Day weekend, Edina Garden Council holds a plant sale for the public. Edina Garden Council is a non-profit organization and proceeds from the sale are spent on our philanthropic projects, such as horticultural scholarships, supplies for the greenhouses, and garden features for the Edina parks.
The plant sale started back around 1973 when one of our members held the sale in her home driveway. Since then the sale has moved to the lower parking lot of Arneson Acres Park in Edina. The sale occurs during Mother's Day weekend on the Friday and Saturday only, not on Sunday - that is for mothers!
The plant sale offers various annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables, combination hanging baskets and containers. The plants are sourced from local vendors or provided by club members who either grow them or dig them up from their gardens. Convenient parking is free and drive thru pickup is available.
Cash, checks with identification and major credit cards (magstrip, chip card, contactless) are accepted.
